How to measure your assemblies for awnings & slide toppers.
1. For all Carefree of Colorado slide topper assemblies measure the roller tube in between the endcaps. You are measuring the length of the aluminum roller tube without any obstructions such as collars or gears.
2. Measure the slide depth extension from coach wall to the outside of the slide wall.
3. Ascent models: some have a "Weatherslat" at the coach wall attached . Measure the length of the metal slat and then the depth of the soft connect (usually anywhere from 1 to 2.25 inches).
1. Measure the length, left to right, of the current awning fabric and then the length of the roller tube in between the collar or gears.
2. Measure the length, left to right, of the slide flange.
3. Option 1: No metal cover: Measure the depth of the awning fully deployed from coach rail bead to rollertube bead.
Option 2: Metal cover: Measure the depth from the metal cover to the rail on the rollertube.
4. Measure the depth of the slideout from coach wall to slide wall.
5. Find valance depth.
1. Measure the length, left to right, of the current awning/slide topper fabric.
2. Measure the length, left to right, of the slide flange.
3. Measure the depth or extension of the topper/window awning fully deployed from bead to bead.
4. Measure the depth of the slide out from coach wall to slide wall.
1. Measure the length, left to right, of the current awning fabric and then the length of the rollertube in between the endcaps. Measure the length of the metal cover if you have one.
2. Measure the depth or extension of the awning fully deployed from bead to bead.
3. Measure the depth of the decorative valance flap.
4. State whether your valance is scalloped or straight.
1. Measure the length, left to right, of the current awning fabric.
2. Measure the depth or extension from lead rail back to the rollertube at the coach wall.
4. Estimate how much of the awning is wrapped on the tube.
1. Measure the length, left to right, of the current awning fabric and then the length of the rollertube in between the endcaps.
2. Measure the length, left to right, of the metal cover if you have one.
3. Measure the depth or extension of the patio awning fully deployed from bead to 1st bead on.
4. Find out if your awning wraps around 1/3 of the roller tube or not.
5. Measure the depth of the valance flap.
6. For Eclipse models, measure the depth of the soft connect if you have one.
1. Measure the length, left to right, of the current awning fabric.
2. Measure the depth or extension of the patio awning from the lead rail back to the roller tube.
3. Estimate how much of a wrap is on the roller tube.
1. Measure the length, left to right, of the current awning fabric.
2. Measure the depth or extension of the patio awning from the lead rail back to the roller tube.
3. Estimate how much of a wrap is on the roller tube.
1. Measure the length, left to right, of the current awning fabric at the coach rail then measure the length, left to right, of the awning at the roller tube. These awnings are tapered so the lengths will be different.
2. Measure the depth or extension of the patio awning from bead to 1st bead on the roller tube.
3. Measure the depth or drop on the valance flap.
* Due to the thickness of our materials we cannot install a light wire in this model as it will not roll up properly.
How to measure your assemblies.
1. Measure the roller tube in between the endcaps or collars. You are measuring the length of the aluminum roller tube without any obstructions such as collars or gears.
